Singer Muma Gee lashes out at Tiwa Savage for listing herself as a female pioneer of African music

Singer Muma Gee has lashed out at Marvin's first Lady Tiwa Savage for acknowledging herself as part of the female pioneers of African music in Nigeria. Tiwa savage had earlier in an interview with E! said that she regards herself as one of the pioneers of the African music, but Muma Gee is of the opinion that she doesn’t qualify for the position.
According to her “Where was Tiwa when the likes of Onyeka Owenu and Kristy Igbokwue promoted the African culture in the early 1990's? She was outside the country doing her thing so she cannot call herself one of the pioneers of the African music in Nigeria. She can call herself one of the pioneers of the new school music, no problem! but not a pioneer of the African music in Nigeria’’.
